/v1/participants

Updates a single participant's RSVP state. Supply the participant id and the state to set.

The state field accepts:

• confirmed - marks the participant as confirmed.
• not_coming - cancels the participant.
• needs_reschedule - cancels the participant and flags that they want to reschedule.
• initial - resets the participant to its un-responded state.

The updated participant is returned. Note that the returned state reflects the resulting participant state, which is more granular than the value you send (for example, needs_reschedule results in a state of not_coming_needs_reschedule):

OAuth scope

Calls authenticated with an OAuth 2.0 bearer token must include the events:write scope. A token without it receives a 403 insufficient_scope response. HTTP Basic auth is not scope-gated.
